Part 1 of our IDBDR adventure crosses the southern Idaho desert. The experience is completely different than the rest of the route—more akin to the NVBDR than anything else. Although we are experienced riders and very familiar with riding the southern Idaho desert, getting to Jarbidge, NV—the start of the IDBDR was a challenge.
