Idaho Backcountry Discovery Route—Part 2

Trying to outrun cool temps and rain, we rode this section of the IDBDR north to south. The lush, northern sections of Idaho were beautiful, but the reality of the high country proved too potent for us as we rode south.

Washed out bridges and high water caused trouble for us at a couple of crossings, while fallen trees and snow made the high Forest Service Roads completely impassable. But, with so much beautiful scenery and open space to explore, it was anything but a bust.

The best part is we get to try all over again!
