Exploring SW Idaho and the Owyhee Desert
I’ve ridden the Owyhee desert since I bought my first motorcycle at age 11. It was a place where my family routinely took weekend trips so we could lose ourselves in the wilderness. This place is the one of the least populated areas in the US with counties larger in area than some states and populations smaller than most high schools. It is a place where exotic geologic formations of petrified coral and sea fossils abound at random washes and arroyos in the middle of an arid landscape.
